    I would not risk it.

My permit (Tuolumne County) clearly states that concealed carry in an airport is prohibited.
Check the restrictions on your permit, if in doubt contact your IA.

The current injunction on SB 2 did not enjoin the CCW prohibition in an airport facility.

Don't take the risk. The law is clear that airports are off limits. If you want to ccw in the ID'd area, check to see if it's private property, public or part of the airport.

On the chance you get caught, you can imagine the headlines.

My suggestion is to follow the law. I was faced with a similar circumstance recently. While there are those who would encourage you to do something illegal, it is not worth the risk.

Vegas, are you talking about non-ID area arrival waiting area within the terminal, or the pick-up/drop-off lanes in front of the terminal? That's not clear in your post.

If you are in your vehicle, and concealed carrying, you are legal, as long as you remain in your car. If you are inside the terminal area, you are in violation.

Best advice: Leave your gun at home. If that's not an option, store it in your vehicle in a locked container, unloaded, in the vehicle's trunk or in an area of the car that is out of plain view. The glove box or center console are not legal storage places.

As mentioned, before: Why take the risk?

Look and compare these probabilities: 1) the likelihood of needing your firearm to defend your life or life of your loved ones and 2) the likelihood of law enforcement finding out you are carrying in a prohibiting zone. Then go with the more likely scenario. The way Cali is heading - everything will be illegal soon. Bad guys will carry regardless.

Definitely agree on all scenarios. Cali continues its focus towards law-abiding citizens. Have mercy on us good guys, please!

OK, I just read the Airport Regulations at Sand Francisco International Airport and called twice and spoke to a supervisor. Apparently, the airport has no written regulation. The supervisor told me I would be fine to pick someone up. I suggested that they should update their regulations so that law abiding citizens can see it in writing.

Does not matter, SB2 still disallows CCW at airports. I believe only staying in your vehicle will be okay. if you get out, you are at the airport and in violation of SB2
