    San bernardino grant deed name change

    So after 2 years san bernardino sheriffs want me to fix my grant deed in order to process my renewal little frustrating but does anyone know how to fix a name on a deed ? They wernt very helpful on the issue and the recorders office wasn't any help ethier

    I need to add Jr to my deed .

    Talk with a title company. They may have a suggestion, or three.

      Is "Jr" on your driver license, to make it easier on the notary? If not, there are other ways to meet identification requirements and you may find a notary that takes a broader view of what is sufficient ID. Of course, you can also update your license with DMV if it's not on there.

      Estate planning attorneys like me will update your deed as part of updating your estate plan. I submit the deed electronically for recording from my laptop. You may prefer a local attorney, but really that is no longer necessary. I have clients all over CA, plus WA and TX. Everything can be done online, except i would send you to a local notary.
