I would say with a burglary charge, your chances are not good on an appeal.

I read that when people get denied it is very specific on why you got denied. According to my denial. I got denied for being dishonest not cause of my past.

At this point they discovered the charge and disqualified you, if you decide to appeal? likely you'll have the same result, your 23 years old wait a few years and try again.

It was a honest mistake. obviously when they do the background check it will come up. Why would you lie? Just a thought..

DUI's and drugs is one thing, but violent crimes/burglary is another.

in 7 years you forgot you where charged with burglary ?

sorry for your denial but that is a very short period of time to forget you where charged with a crime, but then again i have never been charged with any crime other then speeding 12 years ago ,and minor in possession of alcohol 30+ years ago , but still remember it ....
