Requirements for CA LTC Instructors?

[locosway]

Does anyone know what the requirements for becoming a CA LTC instructor are?

Is it per county?

It is per county. San Bernardino qualifications are run by volunteer department deputies, no other qualification exists. Other counties contract private instructors. Orange County had 5 or 6 private contractors plus the OC Sheriff also runs qualifications at the Santa Ana college. Your best bet is to call the Sheriff's business office in the county your reside in. There was some traffic earlier this year that OC wanted instructors to be PC832 certified, don't know if that went thru or not.
