    Two CCW Application Questions

Question 1: Can I put two calibers on my app?

    Make Model Caliber Serial No.
    Glock 23 40S&W / 9mm 12345 US

My intention is to bring my G23 with my G19 slide on it to my interview along with my G23 slide.

Question 2: Regarding Traffic Violations/Accidents - I have not had any tickets in a coon's age but I was in a not-at-fault accident. Do I need to list that accident?

You can do two different calibers. You just have to qualify with each gun you have on your permit.

You're delving into an area that is going to depend on your county.

Some counties do not allow any modifications to the listed gun.. you would have to list both the G23 and G19. I'm not aware of any counties that limit you to fewer than 3 guns.

On the accident, my reading of the application is that yes, it needs to be listed.

You're better off listing when in doubt. Interviewers don't like surprises, so when he pulls your DMV and sees the accident, and sees it listed on the app, it's going to take about 5 seconds in the interview to confirms "Nope, not as fault"
If it's on the DMV report and not on the app, now you're going to explain the whole thing and why you tried to hide it. "I forgot" is not likely to work

Depends on the issuing authority, in San Bernardino, no, it has to be a complete gun with it's own serial number.

You need to list all encounters with law enforcement to the best of your memory. Traffic incidents don't really mean anything though, but you do not want to omit it and have them find out, bad juju.

          El Dorado County.

I was hoping to minimize my list by listing the G23 with two calibers, and figure swapping (23/19) uppers but I suspect that might be a problem... so I guess I will instead list both the G23 and G19.

You need to list the accident.

You are bringing guns to the interview? That is not the way they do it here, and might very well be the way to do it otherwise.

Call/email your LEA and find out for certain.
