If I were to list my HK usp c on my permit, would I be facing question due to it being converted to a variant 1 (DAO)?

Would a gun have to be purchased in the exact configuration it would be carried in?

Don't think there is a law prohibiting that mod but Lord forbids you use that gun the civil lawyer might have a field day.

so ill need to go out and purchase a variant 1 only for carry.

Don't know the letter of the law portion, I can just tell you that currently some Issuing Agencys will not allow any mods. Best to check with your IA.

hk usp compact variant 7. It is now a variant 1. It sounds like I will be asking my IA, which means buying another of the same firearm.
