    should I send it

    does it even matter?

    Sandra,
Over the last many months, ans court rulings stemming from DC V. Heller, it is becoming obvious to everyone, including those advocating "common sense firearm laws" that the right to keep bear arms is a personal right. We are seeing mounting numbers of rulings in various jurisdictions forcing law enforcement to issue CCWs. my question is, are you going to wait until a suit is filed against your department, or preempt that suite and Denney the CCW proponents a ruling

    thanks

The folks and volunteers at CGF are working hard to get CCW approvals.

They have a legal strategy, and are putting a lot of man hours into it. I would let them take care of it for now.

Check the thread for your county and see how you can help!
You think you know, but you have no idea.

The information posted here is not legal advice. If you seek legal advice hire an attorney who is familiar with all the facts of your case.

        thanks

even if she did read it, I don't think it would change a thing.... IMO, a court ruling and the accompanying wait would be more better than a possibly temporary voluntary loosening up

I'm just correcting the spelling and grammar not the content.

It is your responsibility to send this email!

Aside from legal action and organized action (by folks like CGF and The Brady Bunch), the only way for elected officials to know what the public wants, is through direct communication. Your Congressman and Senator can not read your mind, neither can your Sheriff. Let them know.

Fjold did good work, and I liked that you keep it short and simple. Send it.
