    CCW use question

Hello everone, I am new to this forum, I am interested in learning if a permit is only good for the county of issuance. For instance if I get one issued to me in Sacramento County, does it allow me to carry in Placer, or other counties? Or am I restriced to carrying concealed only in the county of issuance? Thank you. This is a very interesting forum.

Welcome to the forum. CCW's are statewide permits. Regardless of who issues it, you can carry anywhere CCW's are not prohibited, unless there is a particular restriction on your CCW.
There are some who call me....Tim?

      Welcome, Sport.

Your CCW would be good through-out California, unless your issuing agency put some type of restriction on it. For instance, "good in Sac County only."

I haven't heard of Sac doing so, so you should be good to go!
