CCW use question

Hello everone, I am new to this forum, I am interested in learning if a permit is only good for the county of issuance. For instance if I get one issued to me in Sacramento County, does it allow me to carry in Placer, or other counties? Or am I restriced to carrying concealed only in the county of issuance? Thank you. Welcome to the forum. CCW's are statewide permits. Regardless of who issues it, you can carry anywhere CCW's are not prohibited, unless there is a particular restriction on your CCW.

Your CCW would be good through-out California, unless your issuing agency put some type of restriction on it. For instance, "good in Sac County only."

I haven't heard of Sac doing so, so you should be good to go!
