I'm thinking about moving into the State of California to become a Bail Fugitive Recovery Agent (a/k/a Bounty Hunter) around 2011.
The counties that I'm thinking about moving into are:
Riverside
San Bernardino
Los Angeles
San Diego
Fresno
Orange
Ventura
Contra Costa
Alamenda
San Joaquin
Santa Clara or
Sacramento
maybe this summer or fall.
And I was wonder that any of these County Sheriffs are willing to except Bounty Hunting as a Good Cause for a CCW Permit? And do I need Letter References from people I know? Do I have to reside in one of these counties?
Because I talked to somebody in Riverside Sheriff Department about that and he said that I do need three letter references and under Sheriff Sniff's Policy that Bounty Hunting is not a good cause but advices me to obtain a BSIS Sercurity Guard Card for exposed weapon from the State of California.
And I don't know if I'm allowed to have that weapon concealed or not because I don't want to break the law.
I won't be 21 years old until December 22, but I'm wanting to take that Peace Officer training in California.
