As you all know that by the end of this month Riverside, sb and la county will be releasing almost 750 inmates to save the state some money... La im sure have most of this inmates and putting our life and our family life in danger because they are ex-con and im sure that thier gonna have a hard time getting a job, If they don't get a job and instead of being homeless because thier prostrated on finding a jod their just gonna do something stupid that gonna make them back in jail atleast they have a bed and eat 3 times a day radder than being homeless..... And still LA COUNTY is not issueing CCW HELLLLLLOOOOO!!!

That was sarcasm lol. Unfortunatly, that is the thought proccess of your sheriff. Wish everyone could have a sensable sheriff like we are fortunate to have here in San Bernardino county.

Interesting thread. Los Angeles County has almost 50 police departments and virtually all issue. And surprise, you do not need a CCW to have a firearm in your home.

I am having a little trouble reading your posting. My understanding, as a long time LA County resident, is that the LA County Sheriff is the issuing athority here. I have heard that any of the incorporated cities CAN issue but that they vurtually ALL defer to the Sheriff.

Negatory Grasshopper. Most Los Angeles County departments do not delegate to the SO. Even those that allude that they do, continue to issue to special people. That is of course illegal as 12050 (g) PC requires delegation to be all inclusive. Something that most Chiefs do not want to do. Never know when the City Manager or a member of City Council will wander into their office and want a CCW.
