Has anyone ever tried (and succeeded) in applying for a CCW with the Sheriff's dept in Cerritos? I believe that I have good cause, as I own my own business and do carry large amounts of cash for nightly deposits. I have not been threatened or assaulted yet (*knock on wood*) but I really don't want to wait for that to happen.
The only problem is that my business is in Orange County and I live in Cerritos...so i'm not entirely sure how that works. From what I gather on the OCSD website, if I am not a resident of Orange County, I can only apply for a 90 day permit...so since I live in Cerritos I thought i'd apply with them, but I found nothing about CCW permits on their website.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
