In my CCW class for LASD CCW I was told you must notify any LEO uponcontact that you hold a CCW permit, even if your not carrying at the time. It was on the Terms of Use Agreement I signed when picking up my CCW. It appears that LASD has changed there CCW Permit Terms of Use Agreement. Previously #7 stated:
"Reguardless of whether I am carrying a firearm, when contacted by ANY law enforcement officer, I SHALL advise them that I am a CCW Holder"
It appears it was changed 2/27/2024 to:
"If I am contacted by a law enforcement officer for any reason, and I am armed, I shall immediately advise the officer that I am a CCW licensee. If the officer requests my CCW license, I will provide my CCW license as proof I am legally carrying a concealed weapon."
A couple other small changes/rewording also happened. My question is, I signed the old Terms of Use Agreement...am I still bound by it?
