A Modest Request: State Your IA, Please

When you post in this forum it will be very helpful when you state which agency is your Issuing Authority (IA).

In doing so, it will be less likely that non-relevant information will be contained in replies.

    Thanks, folks!

And if it's an IA specific question, it belongs in your county thread.

Some may one OpSec in regards to who their IA is with regards to what they are posting about. I agree with the premise that if someone asks a question about issuance policy, they should use the relevant county chat to post it. General state CCW questions can go to this general chat.

Exactly, this forum is for non-IA-specific topics.

I see what you are saying, gents, but this forum does see topics that are asking specific questions that may or may not be applicable to many IA's. Hence, my request.

I do agree that folks should see their respective county/city thread for answers, but it can be a chore to wade through a lot of replies there to get one.

          Thanks for the input!

Preston, you are an optimist - - nothing is going to stop the posting of non-relevant information in any forum. Take a look at the litigation threads. It is the CalGuns Tao.

            Best.

              Yeah, you are correct.

              But hope springs eternal.

People who need to view your PSA will likely not see it and still post as usual.

It's the Tao of Poo - but not A.A. Milne's fictional bear.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
