And they said just check the law online and when i check its saying we cant carry any standard magazine capacity or more than 10 rounds. Anyone here from sd county carry standard magazines capacity?

    Why did you call?

    Should have asked here first.

IIRC SD, OC, LA, don?t have such restriction, unlike San Berdo.

In OC, I carry mine. Just note they could be confiscated due to being a nuisance, but that?s about it.

Not sure where you read that more than 10 rounds are restricted, here is the FAQ on the subject from the San Diego Sheriff website

Can a CCW licensee carry an approved firearm with more than ten rounds in the magazine if that high capacity magazine is legal?

The CCW license does not define magazine capacity, just the firearm. If the magazine and firearm are legal to possess in the state of California, and the firearm is listed on the license, a CCW permit holder may carry. (Note: California firearms laws are subject to change. It is the responsibility of the CCW permit holder to ensure the firearm & magazine are in compliance with California law at the time of carry.)

        Legally...

If you lawfully own large capacity magazines, then you can still legally use them in a manner that does not make a prohibited weapon.

An issuing agency can impose reasonable restrictions or conditions on their carry permit holder [PC 26200(b)], but those restrictions or conditions must be indicated on their carry permits [PC 26200(c)].

So, in order to be legal, an issuing agency that mandates their carry permit holders cannot use large capacity magazines with their listed carry handguns, must print that restriction on their carry permit.
^If its not printed on the carry permit, then its not a restriction/condition that must be legally complied with.
