Agreed. I cannot imagine that you will find many people here encouraging you to violate federal firearms laws. Additionally, "I need weed in order to ____________" is a sign of a different problem.

Legally and technically, yes.

This is due to:
1. Federal laws making a person who acquires or uses marijuana a prohibited person.
2. CA laws requiring a CA CCW permit holder to be a non-prohibited person.
3. CA laws requiring an issuing agency to revoke or deny a CA CCW permit to a person that is reported to them to be a prohibited person by any Gov/LE agency.

Which means if discovered buying/using marijuana by a Gov/LE agency, then that person can have their CA CCW permit revoked/denied.

Note that all of the Federal Courts that have jurisdiction over CA have upheld that a person that acquires/uses/possess marijuana is a prohibited person that can not legally own or possess any firearms or ammunition.

I hope you are aware that that DOJ and ATFE monitor gun forums for potential illegal activity. Many of the posts in this discussion were made for general info and to protect you.

Dude, we're not passing judgment on your choice of a sissy pistol or your shooting stance. We're trying to warn you of the consequences of your actions.

Weed and the 2A do not go together. You buy weed and you may lose your 2A. Is it worth it? Judge for yourself. I would say that most of us here would not risk it.

But, you're right (see what I did there?), this is the US of A, so go ahead and toast a fattie, go hang out with your best buds, heck maybe even consume some shrooms up in WA state while you're at it and then fly back to CA. See how it works out for you.
