LA Homeowner Fights Back

Would like to hear the back story on this guy. Did he have a CCW? If so, how did he get it - he lives in LA.
But however, good for him. This is what needs to happen over and over. If the government and law enforcement are not going to protect the citizens then citizens will begin protecting themselves.Comment

That homeowner had some excellent skills and a bit of luck. Hope the creeps took a bullet or two."Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. What's so cool CCW laws are irrelevant. The entire event was on his property.
For all the cops know the gun was locked and separated from its ammo in a lock box (after a trip from the range), and he merely armed himself before he exited the car. :-)
Anyway, he knew what he was doing, and he was attacked by untrained aggressors. The moment he fought back they freaked out and started retreating. He could have had a Barbie Doll in his pants for all they knew. They lost precious time to shoot first by freaking out.
I try to keep that mentality in the front of my thoughts. I am trained better than my attackers. Stand and fight and odds are my hits will land first even if I'm not the first one shooting. Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.Comment

That was what he said, but when you slice things up, it became something else.
This is what he actually said in full:
?I guess they decided to try to come at me and come in the house, but I have my five-month-old baby, and a wife, and a nanny in the house and that wasn?t going to happen. There was nothing in my house that was worth dying for. But I was willing to die for my family.?
Honestly, what he said embodies why all of us carry. Protecting the family is the ONLY reason.

The news said he had a ccw so prob got a permit recently with the changes. Said that it was happening in his neighborhood so probably was always ready and alert as you can see he was ready for the night watch with that coffee. Looked like the intruders were more scared than him.Would like to hear the back story on this guy. Did he have a CCW? If so, how did he get it - he lives in LA.

He just did an interview with Colion Noir on YouTube. Armed with a Glock 26. Imagine if he had a malfunction in there or was carrying Israeli. Had 2 rounds left after the initial shots fired with no spare mags. Sucks how the 10 mag cap gives the law breakers the advantage being able to use high capacity mags. Seems like restricting guns laws just gives the law breakers the advantage.Comment

Wait, what happened? Did the other thread get nuked? Someone say the Amish word?
Nevermind. Here: https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1887694
Technically, the other thread is the dupe, but has longer legs at 2 pages vs a paltry 14 posts so far in this one. Judges? What say you?Les Baer 1911: Premier II w/1.5" Guarantee, Blued, No FCS, Combat Rear, F/O Front, Checkered MSH & SA Professional Double Diamond Grips
