    IA contact about SB2

Anyone else get contacted about SB2 from their IAs, I received an email and they touched on the changes and recommended reading the bill in its entirety. I guess my IA is going to be enforcing SB2 even though its blatantly unconstitutional.
5.56: reach out and touch someone.

Riverside Co. Sheriff is my IA, thought it was odd to receive an email from them about SB2

Yeah, I checked my email and I got it too.

What's strange to me, is not that they sent it. I knew they would have to alert their permit holders at some point.

No, what strange to me is that they state that they do not interpret the laws, and if anyone has questions, to contact a legal professional. So, how are they supposed to apply this law in the field if they can't interpret it? Or is this just a CMA thing?

I ran to the same issue when I asked my IA a question related to carrying in a vehicle (Is it legal to transport a firearm in a Console Vault?). The reply was that I should consult with an attorney.

Same thing happened to me. It appears that?s their standard reply.

Pretty much don't carry anywhere or risk losing your permit, so you won't carry anywhere.

So far nothing from Tuolumne County SO, either via letter or info on their website.

It's just an abbreviated version of SB2 with certain text highlighted in regard to application/renewal procedures, and the list of sensitive places verboten.

It just looks to me like a CYA thing.

The big thing to me is, that if the damn law is so confusing that even LEO can't interpret it and refers to an Attorney, then how are we suppose to?

So, we gotta pay an Attorney $500.00 to ask 2-3 questions?

And are there even any Attorneys out there that can interpret this the way the states intended?

                              What a mess.
