For cable attach points, It depends on the car but seat brackets, cargo rings in rear area or spare tire storage areas work well

        Not much difference.

I carry both. The 19 gets carried a little more often. Also, mag capacity can be a factor.

          I'm a revolver guy...
I hated the looks of sigs and glocks when they first came out.
But back then I believed guns were for hunting or target practices...
But unfortunately the world has changed...And so has my opinion...
My wife and I both have Glock 17s
They are mostly just for home and incase of bug out...
My every day carry is a glock 26...
Great thing about having them both is the glock 17 mags works in the 26...I keep a bunch of 17 mags loaded. When ever I travel I carry 3 26 mags with me and my wife carries a few 17 mags in her purse.
You should consider carry the same thing as your wife.
2 guns, one kind of mag and ammo... Do what if with her...
My wife and I do it all the time.
My favorite guns to shoot are black power revolvers but they have their place. It's definitely not on my hip

            Busa....
I have a safe bolted under the back seat of my truck. But I only use it for post office visits.
The only place I go that I can't carry to is to is doctors visits.
And my house is 5 minutes away.
I'm more comfortable leaving home without carrying them leaving my guns in my truck for a long period of time...
Unfortunately where I live car theft is as high as car break-ins...
Have you looked into getting a gun vault...Any are available that installs in the center console...
I'm not a fan of the small cable ones. I would definitely replace the thin cable with a heavy one

Assuming it's made reliable, is my PMR30 a ridiculous thought in this instance? I think not.

Ruger LCP, Shield 9mm or a Glock 19.

My question is how can the OP conceal anything while wearing that super tight black muscle shirt?

I'm not sure CCW issuers allow .22 Lr. Riverside county didnt allow it when I had my CCW there.

Interestingly, Constitutional Carry in Tennessee doesnt prohibit .22lr

I have a Console Vault that was made for the center console in my vehicle. Bolted wight in, inconspicuous, combination lock (there's also a key option), and like another posted stated it's used for when I have to go into a prohibited place, like the post office. Living in Oakland, I feel much better putting the firearm in the console vault instead of in some crappy lock box secured with a cable. The other advantage of the console vault is it's right next to me. No having to reach back into the back seat if it's a lock box bolted down back there or having to reach under the seat to retrieve the lock box, or even worse, if you have the lock box in the cargo area or trunk. It's also way easier and inconspicuous to put it in the console vault. Gun simply comes out of my waistband in the holster and right into the console vault, done deal.

Or an 8 3/8" 500 magnum for that matter.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

I carry a Gen3 G19 with a 15rd mag and a TLR-7A underneath it plus another 15rd mag for backup. I use a Werkz Holster and am happy with it after trying a few other brands. (Alien Gear and Vedder..didn't care for either.)

I can wear my rig at 3pm with just a t-shirt on. I'm also wearing a very thin undershirt. No printing depending on the t-shirt.

My "Winter Gun" is a VP9 set up exactly the same as my G19...but OWB. It's rare that I carry that. Usually if I'm going somewhere and wearing a jacket that I don't plan on taking off. Usually some sort of outside event.
hey thanks! So Busy up here on the Cattle ranch living the survival lifestyle. And My wife is now carrying a Glock 43 up from her .380 sig 238. I have changed from a S&W J frame .357 to a P9 in a ankle holster. Might sell Kahrs (i have 5) to get Glock 26 and then customize it.

But with the high profile mass shootings I feel I am out gunned with a j frame and speed loader

My wife carries a Sig 238 but could carry a Glock 19 she has (the wonders of Womens Purses)

                              Any thoughts?
