    Documentation of residency

So, I am about to start the application process, It seems that in reading through all of the info on the San Diego County Sheriff CCW information there are statements saying that utility bills are preffered, one instance of saying at least 1 utility bill is required, and in another place suggesting bank statements or credit card bills are also fine.

Anyone with a positive experience using non utility bills for the application? I ended up moving in with my wife here in Sand Diego County, moving from Orange County years ago. All of the utilities were and are in her name. Are the other forms of proof acceptable in SD or am I going to have to make other arrangements?

Thank you in advance, I did try to search before posting.

You may want to post this in the IA specific forum.

For clarity, my IA is Ventura. IIRC, I used DMV records. If that doesn't work for you, maybe a cheap $50 for 100 minute cell phone plan. Technically, it's a utility. Fair warning, spouses tend to not be excited about this option.

Other option is to get your name added to one of her existing utilities.

Since you said you moved in with your wife, I don't know the specifics of your relationship but if you have to use a utility bill just have her add your name to one.

Home owners or rental insurance have monthly statements, so does ISP.

I had that problem! SDSO Detective called me and said I needed another Utility
Type Bill. My phone is in my GF name. What I did was went to VERIZON and added
a second line to the phone in "My name". Had to wait a few days till a bill was posted online.
Copied that, posted to Permitium, and called him back to let him know! All was good, got my permit a month later!
Waited another month and canceled it.
