Have you been hiding in a cave? Since Villaneuva's revolt against the council, quite a few L.A. County CCW's have been issued. The new admin has kept more or less the same issuing policies from the previous admin without the added "good cause" headaches.

Good luck! Glendale seems to be one of the ones that had to be dragged, kicking and screaming, into issuing CCW permits.

Isn't Glendale where they passed that crazy law designating almost the enitre City as no go zones for carry? I think there's currently a lawsuit making it's way through court. Hope you get your freedom soon.

Of course the rest of us in Cali will be in the same boat once SB2 passes.

So i just finished my virtual interview (via Microsoft Teams) with an Orange County Sheriffs officer (literally 10 mins ago). All she did was review/confirm the information on my application. Then she told me everything looked good and I should receive my permit via mail in about 10-14 days. All my paperwork & documents were completed & in order (training class, live-scan, proof of residency, photo, etc.) so that helped. It was less than 10 minutes. You just have to be patient. I started my application in mid May, so 3 months is not too bad (in my opinion). Total cost for me was $487 (CCW training $200, LiveScan $118, OC Sherriff $169) Time to celebrate!
