    FT3 & CCW

For those that go to FT3 and have a CCW. Are they OK with you walking in there with your CCW on you? Whenever I go in, they always ask if i'm either LEO or CCW as I know they can remove the table barrier if you want to practice reloads etc but I was just curious about the check in with an active CCW. They always check your weapon and ammo, etc. before assigning your lane but what if I'm carrying my CCW? Do they ask you to pull out a loaded weapon, etc. in the lobby? (i surely hope not) or does that kind of get waived if you're active CCW holder?

Or should I unload before walking in and then reload/reholster once at my lane?

They don’t care as long as it’s concealed and you’re not going to shoot it while in the bay (ask an attendant if that’s what you’d like to do)

Tons of signs stating no open carrying of firearms. They will not ask you to disarm.

Thanks for the info! I wasn't aware of the signs I didn't really look the few times I went there but didn't have CCW yet. Just thinking ahead.

As a courtesy I let them know I'm CCW and currently concealed. That way if by some strange reason a RSO see's me printing or something it isn't a big deal because they are aware of my CCW status.
They don't ask to disarm and they don't ask to see it. Concealed is concealed.

If you want to practice have special days and times for drawing from a holster. You can just ask an attendant on a regular day as previously stated, but I'm sure it will be a no on most days of regular range time.

Call them. That?s you best source of info.

If you want to do holster draws, you need to certify by taking a class they offer for that, first. I believe holster draw day is on Wednesday evenings. This information is also provided on their website.
