    CCW DROS Match

Since in certain counties, such as Los Angeles County, each firearm that you list on your CCW must match the DROS exactly, if you want to, for example, list a single-shot pistol as a semi-auto or change a pistol's caliber say from .380 to 9mm you cannot lost this firearm pn your CCW since it doesn't match the DROS. However, I've been told that this problem can be circumvented by pawning the modified firearm and then picking it up; and since it has to be re-DROSed upon pickup that'll make the DROS match the new modified pistol.
Hence, I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues with this or any pistol's denied form your CCW because they were modified even if the new DROS reflects this?

If you do the pawn and return, you can change from SSE to semi auto or caliber changes.

Depends what you want to do.

The wait time is longer since you would have to wait 30 days plus DROS IIRC.

So, Orange County resident here. I filed for my original application about a year ago. When we were doing the remote interview, she was going through my add gun request to some guns I purchased during the licensing procedure. I wanted to add a Staccato P and a Staccato C2. She looked them both up in her computer while I waited, and then told me that the Staccato P had been DROSed incorrectly, since they selected "other" as firearm manufacturer rather than Staccato's previous name STI. She told me to take it to be re-DROSed and then I can do the add gun procedure when complete. She added the C2 no problem. Hope this helps.

How did you re-DROS it, through the same FFL?
