        I thought that would be the responsibility of the person you qualified with. They would be the one who determines your proficiency and would have access to inspect your firearm and sign off on it at the time.
        Stop calling them Lawmakers. It only encourages them.

                  Note that these types of questions are better asked on the LA specific CCW board. The rest of us are just guessing on how your IA handles things.

                    In Ventura, the Sheriff's complex is also home to a prison. If you were to bring a firearm into the building, you'd be arrested and send to jail. That would make picking up your permit moot, as you'd never get one in this lifetime.

                      this for sure, here in Sac County, the sheriffs office that has the permits and interviews, no guns allowed in the building 100%
