I thought that would be the responsibility of the person you qualified with. They would be the one who determines your proficiency and would have access to inspect your firearm and sign off on it at the time.Stop calling them Lawmakers. It only encourages them.Comment

In Ventura, the Sheriff's complex is also home to a prison. If you were to bring a firearm into the building, you'd be arrested and send to jail. That would make picking up your permit moot, as you'd never get one in this lifetime.Comment
