Can a man and wife have the same gun(s) on their permits?
Also, Is a letter of recommendation as to character required?

      question

Just submitted ccw application. Interview is in April (earliest). Is there anything I need to do before the interview? Or do I need to wait for interview before proceeding? Thanks

        Riverside county procedure

After submitting an application, what is the procedure? Wait for interview (7 mos out) to proceed or get live scanned and the class with range test before interview? TIA
Also do we need a holster for each gun in class?

Complete everything, except live scan, before the interview. It'll cut down on overall time for approval.

They will give you the live scan docs during your interview. Find out where you can do your live scan now though. That way you can do it the same day, or following day, of your interview.

Yes you'll need a holster for each firearm during the qualification.

I didn't submit my marriage license and was allowed to put my wife's Shield on mine.

I did provide character references though.

All requirements are listed here (Concealed Carry Weapon License Requirements): https://riversideca.permitium.com/ccw/start

What if a woman will not be wearing a holster for concealment? She will be purse carrying. Will she have to get a holster just for class?

                Don't know.

Everyone, women included, in my class had a holster (IWB or OWB).

I would call the training agency your going through and ask them what they recommend.

Thanks for the heads-up. Did you take the training yet? Or will you wait till after the interview? If so where did you train? Thanks again
