Buy Holsters. Check out concealed and open carry holsters and more. Made in the USA and backed by a forever warranty, we holster over 700 gun models. Conceal in comfort at Alien Gear Holsters.

Best holster on the market IMO!

I finally grew up and bought a Milt Sparks Criterion for my G26. I carry it at 3:30-4:00 position. I do not feel it at all while driving. I will slowly start buying MS holsters for all of my carry guns.

When carrying IWB at the 3:30-4 position, I prefer leather holsters over kydex for comfort especially for long amounts of time seated. I'm using a MacDaniel II by Andrews Custom for my DW CBoB. The location of the belt loops creates less bulk on my belt line compared to the Milt Sparks SS2.

Have you tried appendix carry for long drives as well?

It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!

I can drive ALL day with NO issues.

Appendix carry seems close to the edge while standing, but seeing the picture while sitting, I would be highly concerned about what that muzzle is covering.

Not that I have a great solution. Just saying that I shuddered when I saw that picture...

I wouldn't want any muzzle that close to anything I don't intend to shoot--yikes!

I had all the forementioned SuperDuper WhiteHat tucks and a couple of different kydex holsters. I found that carrying at about 4:30 wasn't too bad but I'd hate to have to get my gun out quick from that position while seated.
I'm old and fat and now carry in a pur... uh, man bag. Problem solved

Well, problem solved if you have done LOTS of practice with THAT bag, AND you put the bag in a fast/easy access location, AND you have prepped the bag to get INTO it quickly, AND the gun comes out of the holster really quickly.

Passengers, zippers, bag falling over, any of these things _might_ take more time than a 4:30 draw...

I have lots of clothing scenarios where on the body doesn't work well at all. So, I have used bag carry when required. Even with all the above, (including dry practice IN the car IN the garage so no one sees my gyrations...) I always think about the time disadvantage I just created...

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. It's a bag that I have customized for the job and it does the job well.
