Hey guys I did my initial interview with sac county and they emailed me about a week later saying congratulations I moved on to the next step of the application process. It said to get my live scan done take my ccw class and upload new proofs of residency to my online application. I checked my online live scan results and as of today they all say completed. The question I have is do I take my CCW class now or do I wait until I know the results of the live scan? It doesn't say yes or no it just says completed on the DOJ website? I am afraid to take the class too far in advance.

If your LiveScan results were bad, you would know since you were a participant in the acts uncovered.
More importantly, if the LiveScan had come back with major problems, DOJ would have immediately dumped it to Sac Sheriff with a recommended denial, and you would now have a letter to be concerned about.
Do what they've told you to do.
Update everything they told you to update, and take the class.
The statute says the IA can't require you to take the class prior to approval of Good Cause. They told you to take the class...go take it. Qualify on three guns, then update the firearms quals.
(And you may want to run around in the Sac County thread for additional information.)Last edited by Dvrjon; 10-30-2019, 2:08 PM. -
I did my CCW class first, before even applying.https://thedeplorablepatriot.com/
