    CCW Course expired?! RESOLVED!

Hey guys, hopefully someone could shed some light on this. I completed an online course and range qualification through safeinsight.com two weeks ago, and I'm seeing that my status on their website shows "expires tomorrow." What the heck is this? I seriously hope I'm not going to need t spend any more money on top of the $200-and something the course already costed.
Is there a super narrow time frame I needed to apply through the OCSD?

    Resolved:
Good news everyone! The course needed to be completed in the two week time frame, the cert is good for 1 year. More info below.

Is that online course approved by your sheriffs department? How did you do Range qualification online? Why would you take the course before getting approved for your ccw? Now if you don’t get approved your out $200 and the application fee.

Its approved by OCSD, and the qualification is at a local range.
After calling and speaking with the CCW unit, I was instructed to get all my docs and certs in order before applying with them. Nowhere did anyone say my initial class would expire in two weeks.

Good news! I spoke with customer service at Safe Insight and he said the "expiring" notice was to finish the course. Their online classroom course needs to be completed within two weeks, and after that it's good for a year.
Also since I did my course and shoot prior to applying, I can be issued the ccw at my first appointment versus the second appointment. The nice CCW Unit Sheriff lady did me a favor by suggesting I complete it prior to applying, even though it's not mandatory.

I'd also like to add that the Safe Insight online course is excellent for people working unconventional jobs where nights and weekends aren't available for sitting in a classroom. The course can be completed on your time (within two weeks) and the range qual is done locally, where you meet the instructor.
I called today and the gentleman was happy to answer all my questions. So far so good, so I recommend these people. And yes, they are OCSD approved.
