I purchased 3 different holsters for my belt and could not get comfortable with anything. Tried appendix, 3, 4, & 6 o'clock. Nothing allowed me to walk and sit without always thinking about the gun. The best solution I have found is the Glock Store concealed carry undergarments. http://www.glockstore.com/UTUC-Mens-...k-Coolux-Shirt . They have several different styles and colors. You can put a casual or dress shirt over it. Covers my P238 and spare mag just fine. I truly can wear it all day. As a photographer I do a lot of reaching during work and I just don't have to worry about my shirt lifting up when I am shooting overhead. Works great from gym to meetings, or watching TV at home.

I think that was me. After posting in your thread I decided to order a JMCK holster for my G19 because I liked the one I had for my Sig M11-A1 so much. I received it a while back and have been using it daily. This just reenforces my belief that JM Custom Kydex know how to make a heck of an appendix carry holster. I own two JMCK and highly recommend them.Comment

So, since I started this whole discussion and seeing what people have been saying. I have decided to try it out. I just purchased a T-Rex Arms Sidecar holster, and it should be arriving in a couple weeks.
I will do a lot of dry fire exercises, training and get comfortable with the draw stroke and a slow, visual re-holster. I hope this type of rig will work. I am, at the very least, interested to discover a new system and get more educated about it.Comment

The key to comfort is adjustability in height and angle combined with a wedge. The wedge makes it possible for me to carry the M&P all day. The wing shown in the picture is highly effective at tucking the gun into the body.Biden's

Everyone behind you, particularly when you stand up from being seated can see something, likely thinking it was a phone or multi-tool.
Saw a "good" video on Youtube where the guy was (trying to) demonstrating how to dress "normally" and not look like you are carrying.
Yup... gun at 5:00, he bent over slightly, perhaps enough to sign a sign-in sheet on a table, stood up, and the shirt dropped behind the grip.
It was never revealed, but the only way to avoid an obvious print would have been to discreetly tug his shirt down while standing.
The guy was completely clueless that it was happening.- Rich

Just picked up my shield along with an LAS Ronin 2.0 holster. Tried it on with both shorts and jeans and I'm not seeing a lot of extra conceal ability compared to my glock 30 in an aliengear rig at 4 or 5 O'Clock.
Am I doing it wrong and what have you guys learned on making the switch? One big thing I noticed was that my Aegis Spartan belt with the larger buckle wasn't going to work in a traditional setup with the buckle straight up the middle so I skipped a loop and have it buckling over my left front pocket.

I have been using my JMCK AIWB holsters for several months now. I can say after trying several different models and brands I find JM's holsters to be ideal. Top is my first JM holster for my Sig M11-A1 and bottom is for my G19 with RMR cut. Excellent quality all the way around.

Just talked to my cousin yesterday, at Thanksgiving, he is a police officer and we got talking about appendix carry. He told me of a co-worker of his, who is another police officer. So he is as familiar with his weapon as anyone can be. Long story, short, while re-holstering his weapon in his appendix rig a piece of clothing or something happened and the weapon discharged. He blew off his right nut and the bullet bounced of the ground into his left foot.
I have no clue how any of you guys appendix carry...just doesn't seem worth it.Unless we keep the barbarian virtues, gaining the civilized ones will be of little avail. Oversentimentality, oversoftness, washiness, and mushiness are the great dangers of this age and of this people." Teddy Roosevelt

No way that would happen and not be on the news for all of us to laugh at and enjoy. Especially if it happened to a cop. And how the hell would a bullet bounce off the ground and into his left foot. Was his foot up in the air? Through his foot and into the ground, ok maybe. As stated, it reeks of the cop just spreading FUD.- Rich
