CCW SAFE info ?

I signed up for ccw safe about two months ago. i received a email confirmation number, and that is it. is there any follow up new member packet to be sent ?
i have called twice, no follow up on either call.

You receive a card and that's pretty much it. But mine didn't take 2 months...

Mine didn't take 2 months, but it did take about 4 weeks. I got a letter with a card and a pamphlet.

It's been over 4 weeks now. Still waiting on cards....

I joined today and did not receive any email confirmations. However, when I went back to the website tonight, the site recognized me, and I was able to print a card, as well as have a link to my digital card mailed to me. Anyone try this yet?

None of this is consistent with what I've experienced. My card always arrives quickly when I renew, and they were very quick and responsive via email when I had some questions. Granted, I last renewed my membership in November 2016, and the email correspondence was before that. I'd hate to think they're going downhill on the customer service/communication front. Such a decline wouldn't exactly inspire confidence in how they'd respond if you actually had need of what you pay for.

I sent a 2nd email asking about getting my non-resident permits listed 30 days after the first and someone responded immediately.

I still have not received anything in the mail from them.

Still don't know if they followed up on my response to add the FL/AZ permits, as there was no response to my reply, and no way to tell on their web site what you have listed.

I got an email saying they were backlogged on sending out cards due to a spike in new clients.

One wonders if they make the effort of reading threads like this. If so, it may be one small way of pressuring them for at least an explanation. They continue to pump out emails to the membership (and I assume others who've found their way onto the mailing list) extolling their own virtues. This is the online version of one such email. It's from March, but there've been others recently as well.

I don't mind, I see CCW insurance much like I see CCW. The fact you carry it makes it less likely you will ever need it. Kind of a Murphy's Law corollary.

follow up, it took three phone calls, and I did finally get my card and info. they said they were having lots of clerical issues. with that in mind, it makes me wonder how things will play out if I really need them ?
