I certainly hope you were not angry during the interview.

Good Luck, you will get it if you were honest and have a clean record.

About one month. At that time, you will get a letter saying you have been approved/denied. In Fresno, if you have a clean record, you will be approved.

Then you have to take the ccw course. After getting the certificate, call the Sherrif's dept again and request appointment for the test and fingerprinting. That can take a month to get fit in for an appointment.

THEN, it takes about 10 weeks to get your ccw license in the mail.

Congratulations ! now you really have to behave. You don't want to embarrass the Sheriff.
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

Sounds like a good reason to buy a new pistol

The most difficult part of getting a CCW in Fresno County (if you have a clean record) is finding a parking spot at the SO for the interview and for subsequent renewals at the Jail.
Luckily the jail records office opens way early and you can slip in before the congestion really starts.
Of course it's Fresno so it's not THAT bad compared to SoCal and the Bay.

I was lucky I had found a spot on the street almost in front of SO

Then again I had it at 8am
