Orange County CCW Renewal Process

Has anyone gone through the renewal process yet? Any words of wisdom? I'm due for renewal in August.

the OCSD site also has this info but bottom line is you should apply 90 days prior to expiration. You can mail everything in, I think even just send scans through email, and if you were a Self Defense good cause, you need to articulate another good cause that is more specific and in compliance with OCSD policy 218. You don't need to actually go in and interview at this point, and you don't do livescan over again. Most people have been getting a response within several weeks to go ahead with requalification training.
