Regarding question #4. Have you ever been involved in an incident involving firearms? What exactly are they looking for? I had my house broken into a few years ago while on vacation and they were able to get my gun safe. Are they wanting to know stuff like or is it just for weapon violation incidents?

A gun stolen from a break in is not what I'd consider an incident. However, it can't hurt to put it down.
What county do you live in?Comment

I'm not familiar with their processes. Most include an interview. This can easily be explained then.Comment

"Incident" would typically be any defensive use, accident, or arrest involving firearms, etc....
The time your 1911 jammed would not be an "incident"
The time your SKS double-cycled and you sent a round through your buddy's leg would be.
But it doesn't hurt to disclose anything that could be misunderstood.
The investigator will do their homework before your interview and does not want to be surprised to find something that you did not disclose.
It doesn't bother them quite so much when you disclose something during the interview that they didn't know.- Rich
