It is amazing that you have not gotten significant response to your post. This tells me two things. Either Calguners are not willing to ask for help and/or the vast majority of those being denied are not on Calguns. So let me ask my next questions to those reading this post, if you and/or your friends have or have applied for a CA CCW, why are they not on Calguns? How can Calguns get out the message to those who desire to carry in public that this is the site that they can go to for help and advice on where they may be able to go to get assistance?

Thanks for your response. Yes, it was hard to recommend Calguns not knowing if it would be up or not. While far from its prior reliability, it is better now. I applaud you for guiding friends and family through the process of applying for a CCW. The question is, have any of your friends or family been denied by the Sacramento County Sheriff or any other issuing authority. I think that the point here is to advise those who have been denied to seek legal assistance and not try to appeal on their own. I have it on good authority that in one county, not Sacramento, the Sheriff only lost one appeal. That one was represented by an attorney.
