With everything going south again who knows what is going to happen at the sheriffs office. Sounds like they are still pushing though and processing applications to the point of approvals. But at this time I’d imagine they are holding any in person meetings for new issuances.

I had an in person a couple weeks ago fort new permit with my address change so They are at least doing there best to assist.

I like Dennis at crosshairs training in SR. Very nice guy and his style of training helped me relax.
I recently tried to contact him and I’m still waiting to hear back. So I’m not sure if he’s running regular classes right now. I need to qualify with a different pistol to add to my current permit. Hopefully I can get in.

I’m at 168 days and still no progress. So don’t hold your breath for your ccw in these trying times. Lol.

After reading all these posts, I decided to apply. Just regular joe schmoe here so fingers crossed. Not a business owner or someone that transports a bagillion dollars worth of stuff. Also curious on classes like TheBest just asked even if I get denied

And I suppose scanning it, shrinking it some, and re printing it is a no no?

I’m not complaining. Just can’t wait till the DOJ comes out with a card for us. It would be nice.

It is a pain but I still would not complain if it was 8.5x11 as long as I got one.

I have an appointment at 1:15 tomorrow for pick up confirmed by her yesterday and again today to make sure I bring in my original copy of the form I sent in.

Maybe they are only working with currant issued permits????

I will ask tomorrow when I see her and report back

And I asked her if they switched to the ID style permits and she told me that the DOJ has yet to change it. And we still get to keep monstrosity of a permit in our pocket. So for anyone who is new to CCW and has yet to see a permit. Beware. It’s bulky.
