No news here. One interesting thought. If SB 918 passes, which I beleive is still likely, in addition toall of hte unconsitutuional bulls***, three is one Easter Egg for us.

Applicants whose applications are complete prior to passage of SB 918 need to get a decision within the later of 120 dys from application, or 30 days from the of LiveScan results. Since a lot of startign getting LiveScan results back at the beginning of August, that means that if 918 passes by the end of the month, a lot of us should be approved and onto qualification and interviews starting in a couple weeks.

It’s been quiet here for a few days. I assume no one has any movement from SMCSD?

I believe 48 rounds was what earlier posts have said. So basically a box of 50.

Yeah, that seems to be what is happening. I had thought they were going by date LiveScan cleared, but that is clearly not the case with Corovan.

If Corovan was in first 100 and he applied within 30 minutes, I may be further back than I thought - I didn't apply until about 1 PM on 6/24.

It seems like there was logjam that was cleared around 8/5. A lot of people have posted in this thread and the main Concealed Carry subforum that the Firearms portion of the LiveScan, which was the holdup for most people, cleared staring on 8/5, including some who had been pending for months, and more recent LiveScan filers have mostly been clearing quickly.

Of course, if they clear up one logjam, it is probably only because they have a worse one planned for us

Hey Corovon, thanks for posting this. Good info. I see from your other post you applied on 6/24, the day that Bruen came out. Can you tell us what day you did Livescan, and what day you cleared Fireams section? It will help the rest of us understand where we are in the queue.

I applied 6/24, but it was a few hours after ruling came out. I got notice to do Livescan late in the day on 7/5. Went in for Livescan mid-morning on 7/6 and there was a line of guys doing the same thing. I suspect some guys managed to get in for Livescan on 7/5, and there were definitely some guys ahead of me on 7/6. I'm guessing I wasn't in the first 100, but maybe second 100.

Hmm I do wonder how some people get the Firearms portion completed quicker than others.

    Mine still reads as:
CA Completed - 07/14/2022 - Response will be sent after Firearms is completed.
FBI Completed - 07/14/2022 - Response will be sent after Firearms is completed.
    Firearms In Progress
