Time for a new, younger sheriff who rose through the ranks when nationwide CCWing was common. There’s no reason for us to support Bolanos when he won’t readily issue CCWs by liberalizing acceptable Good Cause.

It appears that Melville had a campaign website and was pretty active on social media last time. I will BOLO. Hopefully he will have all that set up in the near future.

I think voting for him is a better option than current Sheriff Carlos Bolanos, on the CCW issue at least..

Yea, looks like there are two potential challengers to Bolanos in this coming election as of now.

After a 10week wait, my application was approved this morning. On to the CA CCW class and range qualification - waiting to hear back from San Mateo Sheriff on process.
