How was the delay/gap from doing the Livescan to getting confirmation of next steps? I completed the livescan and can see my results all returned within 3 days...been about two weeks since then.

Similar experience. I left a message yesterday with preferred times for pickup, but have not received a callback.

Curious if anyone has actually been able to schedule a successful pickup for the batch released this week as they mentioned they would be starting pickup slots this morning.

When I?m got my pickup date I responded with an email as to my preference, are they asking for phone calls now? Mine was back in March, things may have changed since then!

please email crpa on this and the delays. they posted a new youtube yesterday regarding ccw. they are aware of Alameda Counties games, but LA is their first target. however, the noisy wheel gets greased, so call in with complaints

Is anyone else on the pickup phase and trying to call to setup an appointment? I've been calling twice an hour for the past 2 days from 8-5 and no answer. Are the lines that busy or am I doing something wrong?

Got email for Livescan - 10/26/2023

If you got an email for the Livescan I would say reply with the availability right away. I was an hour late to reply and got pushed back by a week and half for the Livescan. well considering that we have been waiting for more than a year already so a week or two probably won't matter much but still just saying ��.

The initial interview is in person with someone from ACSO and, at least for me, was just a review of my background check, and confirmation of various information in the application. That interview could go many different directions I guess depending on your personal circumstances and questions you might ask. I found it to be quite pleasant and great to be finally kicking off the process in earnest.

I feel you. Applied 8/7/22 so it's been 14 months+ for me too. Judea emailed me that I am 901 in the queue when I asked her last month. I have a buddy who is 905 and he didn't get any email yet either. Let's see 🤞🏽

From other reports it does seem that they go in waves rather than rolling numbers? in which case, unfortunately it could be you were just past the next group they?re working on now. At least you know they have your application and you?re receiving their emails.

Yeah that's true, guess I will keep waiting and see if they at least give me an interview date this month or beginning of next.

That sucks! Have you gotten any kind of communication from Judea? If you've never received anything - even just the email mentioning how they have a high number of applicants, perhaps there's a problem with your application or the email address on file. Or perhaps their emails may have been spam-filtered? Maybe reaching out would be in order at this point...

Another thought - is there anything in your background that may involve further investigation and cause delay to scheduling the interview? ACSO had already done my background investigation prior to my interview.

No to all of the above questions, my last correspondence to her was at the end of August and that is when she informed me of my queue # and what # they were processing at that time, which was #800-850, incredible how almost 2 months later they still have not gotten to me to at least give me an interview....

reading these comments sounds like I got a ways to go. Applied back in November of 2022, reached out last month queued in the 1300's, processing 750 to 850.
