I’m torn now. We’re our applications really cancelled? Still don’t see the refund on my cc statement and it’s still active when I log into the portal and my interview date is still valid.

They also noted personal safety can be used as a reason but cannot be the only reason and still allowed to ask per the recent Supreme Court decision.

At least a couple months ago the policy was you could have one pistol on your CCW and if you qualified with a score of 90% (maybe 95%) or better you could then attempt to qual with (and have on your CCW) a second pistol.

SO now they changed the refunded part you lose $195 if you are denied instead of $115

So basically they keep an extra $75

$195 they keep total if you are of bad morals seems like they are being bad keeping that much.

They did update it. I looked the same day of the ruling and the fee was the same, 115 upfront and then the 80 after you're approved. But it had a maximum of 3 firearms, not 1 😒

But when you click on the actual application it in fact has been changed to $195!

It also only allows for one firearm to be added, and just a few days ago it allowed me to add three.

Ok , it seems they have updated the application system. When I applied last weekend, the max number of firearm is more than one.
And the prepaid was 115, not 195.

On my application it allowed you to list up to three firearms for your permit, but when I spoke to someone today who was associated with the class I am taking they told me Alameda County will only approve (1) firearm. They also told me that after the class I will have to take an additional test administered through Alameda County.

I wonder if they will purposefully make the test more difficult. I have also heard they may incorporate a more involved/complex psych evaluation as part of the approval process, but please do not quote me on this, and that was just something I heard in passing.
Knowing Alameda county and Ahern, most likely

Wow. Still violating the constitution. Why am I not surprised. I was refunded/denied before the ruling. I emailed the lady can I apply again and she suggested I please wait to apply until the state “sets modified ground rules”.
