However, you can't use the same scan for multiple agencies. For example, using LAPD live scan for DOJ and vice versa.
Great, thanks a lot. Will probably do soon to make sure everything is ready.

I left a voicemail yesterday because I missed a call from a blocked number just trying to make sure it was LAPD. Or not. I got a phone call back today from blocked number and they told me they always leave a voicemail. And I ask how far am I in line? Nice lady told me they’re serving a 1243 and I’m 1384. She said less than a month I should receive a phone call. Also she told me they always leave a voicemail.

I?ve read a few posts from people worried about missing the call? maybe some have been called from private? but why would they call from a private number, they?re calling from their department phone. All the number are available online anyway https://cityfone.lacity.org/verity/d...ry/p030pol.pdf

My call came from: 818 600-1630, he then left a voicemail that said to call back on this number or, if I call back after hours, call 213 486 5712.

I called left message and got call back from the same "extremely nice voice lady". I asked her, since LAPD is suggesting to do live scan prior interview, if it will be OK to it couple ahead interview. She replayed to me-only after call for interview, not before.

Any specific recommendations when it comes to classes and fingerprinting (in the valley)? Thanks!

I took my class at the firing line in Burbank. Fast, reasonably priced when compared to others, and they're offered every night and also Saturday afternoons.

I was looking into live scan and came to conclusion-go places where they know about CCW. Rolling cost is about the same everywhere-$25-$35. Official fees you can find here https://oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/a...forms/fees.pdf $32+$17+$38

Keep calling! i find they're responsive in the mornings, usually between 8am and 10am. "Martha" picked up the three times I called. 213-922-4616 or 213-486-5712. Best of luck!

The gov cost is $93 plus the rolling cost of the live scan place you choose.

Government fees are set by the DOJ and FBI. All prices are subject to change without notice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the information listed on this page.

                        * Enter the ORI CA0194200, standard CCW and that is the fee.

Not sure what is reference from private company will come for, link I provided is from .gov web site. Since it is government fees, I stay with numbers from .gov source.
Anyway, we are arguing for $5 difference-doesn't worth argument.
                          I found two places:
https://a1livescannotaryshipping.com...yshipping-com/ will do for LAPD for $120 out of the door. Guy asked me particularly which agency I am applying for.
https://www.thetargetrange.com/ They will do for $118 out of the door.
I called couple other places and their question what is CCW drove me out from their options.

The reference isnt some random website, its a live scan company recommended by the LAPD themselveshttps://file.lacounty.gov/sdsinter/d...es_OCT2015.pdf Certifix allows you to enter the live scan codes provided by the LAPD (from the form on their website).

Its not a $5 difference, its $93 period plus what ever your live scan place charges (mine is $40).

                              * not to mention your source is from 2012.

Seems like everything in your area is inflated! $40 rolling fee-insane!
