If we get that NY SCOTUS win soon, some one correct me if I am wrong….good cause requirement goes away? So just self defense will work. Seems that would create more demand for CCW and maybe Sheriffs departments would pressure the state to get away from this silly every two years thing. AZ does just fine with five or constitutional carry.

I wear a buzz cut, no combing required. Also get better mpg’s in my daily driver.

Had my appointment. Staff were very, very courteous and very efficient. I was whisked through the process from “station” to “station” very quickly but with a lot of care and instructions on what to expect.

All my paperwork was in order and did fingerprints and pictures while there.

Now i start my 90 wait.

Thanks all, for all the help getting this far. Fingers crossed.

I challenge this stress free claim with David Premetz who I used. He also is a Member of a private gun range where the test is done so youre not surrounded by all these people at discount gun art customers etc...

David Premetz got your guy beat on that basis alone. I did mine ALONE. Not a human around. NONE. Zero zilch. No humans in site to the naked eye in any direction. Zero sounds, No other guns going off.

How are you going to beat that?

    Well... this seems new:

If the applicant is RENEWING a Concealed Carry Weapon license in San Diego County, they may not apply until 45 days before the expiration date listed on their current Concealed Carry Weapon license.
IIRC, used to be 90 days. I can't do anything for a couple of months. At least it seems a renewal is automatic and they mail it out.

I will be going to discount gun mart. Already paid for the class before I see you say this. When I went to poway the guys there seems really nice but it’s pretty expensive and poway is 30 mins or so away from me versus morena which is like 13-15 minutes.

Guys didn’t really seem that friendly Discount gun mart when I went there on Easter Sunday but I wasn’t there long enough to really judge their friendliness and the guys here been recommended I think the instructor Kyle so I figured I trust their recommendations.

However my friend got a membership at poway so I be sure to visit there on a regular basis when I’m not going discount gun mart. We probably take turns switching locations to visit.
