    Wouldn't THAT be nice!!!???

Her response did say that the new permit was printed off of the latest application, so the latest application had to have ALL the information...

    Oh Well...

The SD Sheriff folks were REALLY quick to respond.

    From Lisa at SDSheriiff.org:

Yes, in order to change your home address on your CCW permit, you will need to fill out every line of a modification application. The updated permit prints from your most recent application. So the current firearms must be listed on that application in order to show up on your updated permit.

You will also be required to upload 2 different monthly bills for proof of residency for the new address.

After submitting the modification application, you will be placed in a queue and your updated permit will be mailed to you within 3-4 weeks.

Thank you all, for the advice.

I have emailed licensing.ccw@sdsheriff.org as suggested, and I will report back any answers!

I recently moved. I wanted to tell the SDCSO that I moved, and went to Permitium. But it STILL looks like one has to essentially apply for the full permit again.
I faced the same thing when I added a gun, and filled out the whole thing, but they did not review the whole thing like a new application. You might try calling or emailing the CCW unit directly and see what they say. The process was just a few weeks as I recall.

Try emailing your question to this email address. I've heard they have been quick to reply in the past.

Is that really how it is supposed to work? Have they really not updated the simple changes? Or did I mess up?

SDSO staffs are so nice. I think they add more staffs (around 12) to process CCWs faster. I was there around 11:30am, the checkin list has 1.5 pages of names(20?).
a week before appointment day, BI email me they need more docs.

    timeline: 05/03/2021 submitted application
07/18/2021 got email for more docs
    07/26/2021 livescan and fingerprint
    Approved today. day 87

This could be a little risky as I have found the adhesive on some packing tape is acidic (or whatever it is) and deteriorates ink. I work as a courier and see this happening to package labels if covered with the tape.
Fortunately(?) it only has to last 2 years!
