Its 4" x 2.5". Folding it in half makes it fit in a cc slot.

For those whose laminated card fit in a credit card space, Did they cut off the tiny printing, did they cut off the tiny red printing on the outside before laminating. If not, I don't see how the entire text could fit in a credit card space unless they have reduced the size of the form since I got mine.
Laminated and folded it is 2.5" x 2.0",
The red edge printing is present on left and right/front and back edges.
    Has photo.

They made the 8 hours better than just bearable. It's $200 for the class, and it includes everything including range time, target, eyes, ears. The only added expense is if you need to buy ammo.
Great info - thanks. A few more questions please - did you have to do any timed fire exercises, did you have to draw from a holster, did you have to drop and load a mag (timed)?? Thanks.

Where did you go for required training and do you recommend them?

I saw that too. I was surprised.
Maybe some have second thoughts on carrying, it is a major responsibility. Or life circumstances have kept them from completing yet, or perhaps they moved to AZ. LOL

I had them laminate and fold and found it fits fine in normal credit card space.

    Success is sweet. Congratulations.

In addition to the training, I spent time learning about CCW legal defense plans out there and made some choices.
Given the low costs and odds that even a clear case of self defense the families are likely to file civil suits I wouldn't want to lose the house. Plus some you can add a spouse so at least they are covered for home defense at a minimum.

What I did NOT include but should have are news stories of wild animal attacks in east county mountains, and of human and drug smuggling activity in the area. I thought this would be self-evident to anyone living in SD, but now I'm thinking that including ANY news stories about this, however old, would have helped my case.

We'll see what happens... perhaps I'll find out before Christmas.

Well, look at it as you have a little something in reserve if you have to appeal a denial. I was sitting on a couple more cards to play just in case.
