New sturdy 100 yard rifle target stands.

Hello folks,

I have made up 4 prototype 100 yard rifle target stands. It was impossible to get a 5 shot group less than 2" with the target blowing all over the place. You can find them laying down in front of the 100 yard line on various lanes. Look for them and if you find one unused in front of a different lane take it and set it up. If you plan on using these be sure to grab the thinner pistol target. They slide in much easier. Please give them a try and leave your feedback

Thx, those look great! Will have to give it a shot next time i'm at the rifle range. It is challenging to get tight groups with wind, as the target blows around with those plastic poles, especially at 50 yds where they stand really tall.

We are discussing solutions for the 50 yard range. The way the range is graded the 50 yard line stands have to be 8' tall to line up properly with the backstop. The corrugated pipe just doesn't work well if you are shooting for tight groups. It
The footings at 50 yards need to be set in concrete and a similar style wood stand that fits the footings erected. Apparently USI has use of heavy dirt equipment by another member. If a reasonable solution can be made I am willing to pitch it.

Im planning to go in a few weeks after a long time. I'm glad things have been improving with the targets.
I hope the rumors are true about up front. People don't need to be treated that way.
