Project Appleseed Sacramento April 30-May 1

    Sacramento Valley Shooting Center

    Project Appleseed

    April 30-May 1st

    Patriots Day Event!

Project Appleseed is a non-profit organization that teaches 3 position rifle marksmanship (prone, seated/kneeling and standing). We teach you how to build a proper position, use of a sling for better accuracy, natural point of aim and more. This is great for all experience levels from beginner to advanced.

We also tell the story of the beginning of the Revolutionary War, April 19, 1775. We need to remember what those brave people went through that day, and the days/years to follow. This information is being lost in our schools.

Come join us!! Learn new skills. Dust off the rusty skills.

I attended the last event, and I have seen a marked improvement in my off-hand shooting in the few weeks since then. It has also encouraged me to shoot more Prone, standing and kneeling, rather than the usual shots sat at the bench with a bag.

It has given me renewed enthusiasm for my range trips, as opposed to sitting at the bench shooting for tiny group after tiny group. Shooting off-hand is definitely a challenge.

You will also meet a great group of people, really enjoyed my first time and I am signed up for this next event too. The History lessons are an added bonus too, I learned a lot (and my people were wearing Red in those battles!).
