Need to place to shoot

I'm looking for a place to shoot in the area this weekend (20-30 mile radius from Oceanside)...I'd like at least a couple hundred yards of improved range to do some load testing possibly set up a chronograph. I'm trying to tune a 6mmbr for xtc. I could always wait until the next practice but would like to show up with at least some dope for the rifle. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I was thinking about going to Redlands but the $$$ to drive would kill me.

Pala and South Bay are the only nearby ranges with greater than 100 yd capability, if I'm not mistaken.

What do you shoot? Checkout www.santamargaritagunclub.org, it might be a fit for you. The only problem is you can't just show up and shoot...there are quite a few events planned for the club.
