May was a great month when 32 guns came out to play in the desert sunshine. A fun time was had by all. The new configurations on bays 1, 4 and 5 seem to work pretty well and folks are trying out various patterns to make their pings even quicker

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful morning for a match! A chilly morning in mid-June is practically unheard of in the desert. It was a treat for everyone that showed up.
We were happy to have several new shooters join us; for some of them it was their first match, but you would have never known it. We got a lot of good compliments on this match. Everything ran smoothly, we had lots of help with set up and tear down, and most importantly everyone had a great time!

Wonderful July day in the desert. We started off in the upper 80's and last shot was before 10:00, while the temperatures were still reasonable. Great morning to make the steel ping!

Amazing August day in the desert. We wrapped up two hours of making the steel sing right at 10:00 with sunny skies and a wonderful 89 degree temperature.

If you missed yesterday's match you truly missed a good one! Perfect weather, the greatest group of shooters ever and visits from our local wildlife! I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not but our local wildlife that is born and raised here are not afraid of our presence nor our noise. If fact, if I didn't know any better, the deer were checking us out to see if we could actually hit that steel. They showed no fear and no desire to move further from us for quite some time. Well stuff happens... our November match was pretty much drizzled out due to the weather. It was cold, rainy and pretty darn dreary. Thirteen brave souls showed up and gave it their best. The December match was hands down the best of 2025 with 40 shooters and 43 guns. T-shirt weather in the desert for a great day of steel pinging.

February gave us a chilly morning but you sure couldn't beat the blue skies and beautiful view we had! 36 guns came out to play and a good time was had by all!
