    Placing Triad Order

Going to be placing an order with Triad Tactical soon... mostly ordering a rear wedge bag... maybe a few other things.

Anyone need/want something? It wont' be here for the shoot on the 23rd, but will be here in time from Timberwolf's match on Feb 14.

      260 is better

A lot of people seem to like the TIS. I personally prefer the feel of leather.. specifically the one from Turner Saddlery. Quick and functional. If I were to go nylon, I like the TAB sling.

I have no experience with a quick cuffs, and have been wondering some of the same things, and how it would work on an Accuracy International stock.

I have a TIS slip cuff on an AICS(which is conceptually really similar to the tab sling). Helps keep rifle steady against shoulder when shooting sitting, off-hand, etc. and i feel it is more convenient than using a detachable cuff like the quick cuff. Oh and the slip cuff is cheaper

You need to get HK sling hooks and install them on the sling.

I like the TIS Quick Cuff a lot.
It's even better if you dedicate a shirt to shooting and sew a cuff loop on the back of your support arm sleeve.
Then you thread the cuff through the loop and leave it there.
When you need to sling up, you just snap-in to the cuff.
I bought a Tab sling to try and maybe it's just the size of my arm, but I could never keep the sling from sliding down my arm.
I had the same problem with the TIS quick cuff, but the quick cuff works with a loop sewn to my shirt, while the tab sling will not work that way.
The tab sling is very well made, I just prefer the TIS.

+1 for the TIS sling. Don't ask me how to "properly" use it because i have no freakin idea but it sure does look functional

                    TIS

I have the TIS quick cuff and use it on my AI stock, like Randall say's, Get the HK hardware. I got the slip cuff first, it works ok but if your wearing a jacket its harder to slip it over sometimes. The Quick-cuff is faster getting in and out of.

So the tab sling won't allow a quick cuff like sling up?

They are STILL out of stock, but they should be in by the end of the week. I have been trying to get these for awhile. They are $6.95 each.

The tab sling is much more like a traditional leather sling with a sliding keeper to create the cuff around your arm.
It does not have a removable cuff loop like the TIS.

Anyone know where I can buy some black fur to use as padding? I want to modify my leather sling to make it a little more comfortable and give it that kinky bondage look.
