Carbine length meaning 14.5" barrels or can I use a 16" barrel AR with a carbine gas system?

I might try this one too since I already there. I will need to borrow one of the clubs M-1 carbine/ammo. Never shot an m-1 carbine so this should be interesting.

              Loaner

              DVSride,
The club doesn't have loaner carbines or carbine ammo... sorry.
You can shoot the match with your AR as a Modern Military reduced to 100 yd match.
