Hi Everyone,
I've walked by a the CalGuns booth during the OC Gun Show and I have to say, good people, friendly has hell and good information. Thank goodness for people like you.
I just picked up a Sig P229 and a JD Machine Lower for a 5.56 at this last gun show. Definitely got a lot of good information on building my AR, but there is so much that I am always asking for peoples input on my build. So if you guys don't mind a newbie asking questions, please ring a bell. Would definitely like to pick your brains.
Before I start getting flamed on, my buddy who has built multiple AR's is going to help me with this build, so I am not going to do anything stupid. Secondly, I preferred building my AR cause lets face it, why am I going to pay a premium on a gun that isn't exactly what I want, then spend more to customize it to the way I love it. It just makes sense to go from the ground up.
Anyway, I am glad to be part of this community and can't wait to chat it up with you guys.
