New from Travis AFB

hey guys im kinda new to calguns. been on here for awhile lurking and in the fs section, but never actually made an introduction thread. My name is Kyle and am active duty air force stationed at travis. bought my first handgun earlier this year (glock 23c), but recently sold it and now i am waiting to get my 19 gen 4 from Cordelia Gun Exchange. should be ready to pick up sometime next month. the guys there are great and i would def recommend this place to everyone. anyone have any input/advice on the process for getting ccw around solano county?

I can see your airbase from where I lived. ( you probably saw the smoke from my town burning down on the fourth)

I won't say you can't. But it is extreeemely hard to get in this county. You need a tremendous amount of good cause and normally police records of threats against you and such.

Like I said. Good luck. In 2011 there were only 27 permits issue for the whole county. It has been rising. Up to around 300 around the beginning of this year. That's out of 413,000 residents. As opposed to counties like Mendocino that have nearly 5,000 permits out of 87,000 residents.
